A while later he had a call from Downing Street inviting him in to discuss a project. He accepted the invitation. The project (although he had to keep it secret until it was done) was to take an idea they had and to compose and photograph a picture for the Prime Minister's official Downing Street Christmas Card.

Job done - a few days later we had a call from him telling us he had arranged for us to go with him on a tour of Downing Street. The morning before we went up to London, a card came for us by the morning Post. The Card! with a personal handwritten greeting from Gordon and Sarah Brown. We were amazed and delighted. During our visit to Downing Street we chatted a little with Sarah Brown who came into one of the room we were in.
We do thank God regularly for our kids and grandkids. We take the promises of God for them, that they will prosper and be blessed. We have shared with them many of our own experiences of God's goodness, including the hard times when our faith could have wavered. "Trust in the Lord and do good, that your days may be long in the land that the Lord God gives you" Wherever we are is God's land at that moment. Whatever your background - there's a foreground ahead of you. If you have not already done so, put your trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. Our God is a 'family' God.
Have a good day.
