Extension

A couple for years ago we had our Conservatory EXTENDED. We would like to have had the whole house extended but there's no room to extend it to! When family or friends come we bring our two sofa-beds into play. We often wish we had more room, or even more rooms.
From time to time God encouraged His people to MOVE ON. To make MORE ROOM. Sometimes he had to give them a prophetic prod. As in Isaiah 54v2 "Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide and do not hold back. Lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes!"
As our Fellowship has grown we have have had to make more room. Usually by seeking a new venue. More room has always called for more faith. As the fellowship and our needs have grown so has our faith. This time instead of moving, we are enlarging. Our main venue meeting hall is being increased to almost twice the size.
It is an exciting time for us. Praise the Lord! This time we have found ourselves, through the goodness of God, able to meet most of the cost. More cash will have to be raised but we have faith that it will be.
More important than the Fellowship expanding is the way in which our personal lives are expanding, in faith and in love. A young man with a great 'set back' in life prayed " Lord ... enlarge my territory and keep your hand on my life ..." (1 Chron. 4v9,10) Although he had a great 'setback' he wanted more space to grow into what God had for him.
I pray that we will want to EXPAND too, into all God has for us, claiming all the wonderful gifts of the Spirit and graces that he has for us. Lord, keep us FULL AND OVERFLOWING WITH YOUR BLESSING. Take a look at the work so far. See Philip on the digger! Hit the play button lower left.
